artist statement:

"Observing life in the present and from the past is what influences my work. I create objects relating to my experiences of working in a hospital leading to my current explorations. Presently, I am intrigued by biology from the very basic to the most complex. Many of my inspirations come from the beauty of life cycles at multiple levels. My aim is to combine these observations with unique metalsmithing techniques as well as incorporating ornament, dimension, design and color. I aspire to develop interesting, wearable pieces of jewelry while utilizing unique materials."
